Since this event is a fundraiser for the Club there will not be any prizes for the winner except "bragging rights" for the top chef!

Since our Game dinners have been such an overwhelming success,  our Co-Chairmen and renowned chefs - John Cull, Al Bergeron, Mike Sorenson, and John Faro - have announced they’re doing it again!

In the past the menu has included Moose, Bear, Elk, Caribou, Deer, Duck, Pheasant,
and many kinds of fish.

Our chefs are looking for donations of any kind of game or fish.

Annual Game Dinner

Our Club will host its annual Game Dinner on Sunday March 2nd from 1:00 to 3:00 PM.  This event is one of many ways C.P.F.&G. shows its community spirit by inviting the residents of the Town of Newton, our neighbors at Packer’s Meadow, and our members to share the bounty our hunters and fishermen have harvested from the wilds this season.  Last years event was excellent thanks to YOU, our members, who supplied venison, moose, caribou, bear, elk and fish in quantities which provided a true Game Banquet.  We are asking our members who have had successful hunts to please bring what they can donate to the Club on Wednesday evenings, Sunday mornings, at any B.O.D. or General meeting, or contact our Vice President, Earl Tibbetts, to make arrangements to receive your donation.

We are also asking for donations of baked goods, dishes to complement the game courses and desserts.  Last year, some homemade breads, wild rice and fresh baked brownies helped make our event a feast to remember.  Please contact any of our Club Officers or members of the B.O.D. if you wish to join in the preparation and hosting of the Dinner.  There is no charge to attend the event and it’s a great way to meet Club members, share stories of the hunt and see the appreciation of our guests who eagerly anticipate this annual event.

Crafters Needed!

COUNTRY POND FISH AND GAME CLUB has added this event to the annual
Turkey Shoot, held on SUNDAY NOVEMBER 4, 2007 from 8:00 am to 4:00 PM

We are hoping to add a little holiday spirit with Crafters and Flea Market type goods.
Space is limited so please reserve your space and tables soon.

Cost: 10 foot space $10.00 Table rental: $5.00

This is an added event to The Turkey Shoot there for there will be plenty going on
and food will be available for a nominal fee.

Santa Claus Is Coming…You’d better not pout, you’d better not cry, and you’d better not miss the Children’s Christmas Party!  On Sunday, December 11^th, CPF&G will host its annual Children’s Christmas Party from 1:00 to 3:00 PM.  We invite our members’ children and the children of Newton to come enjoy activities, refreshments, and meet Santa.  After telling Santa what’s on their Wish List, each child will receive a toy. 

Hope we’ll see you for this afternoon of entertainment and fun.
