Food and Lot's of Fun! Country Pond Fish and Game Club's Sighting In Day is always the 4th Saturday in September and held In Honor of National Hunting and Fishing Day. SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 27,2003 9AM to 4PM Also Celebrating the
Anniversary of Newton Hunting and Fishing Day On May 2, 1972
President Nixon signed the proclamation making
official the first National Hunting and Fishing Day.
"I urge all citizens to join with outdoor sportsmen in the
wise use of our natural resources and in insuring
their proper management for the benefit of future
generations,"
said Nixon. In Honor of that day, Country Pond Fish and Game Club is opening its outdoor shooting range to the general public for a Sighting In/Open House Day. Come on down whether you hunt or not
and sight in your rifle, pistol, or shotgun. If you don't own a rifle, pistol, or shotgun,
come on down anyway and one of our experienced shooters will assist you in shooting any of
several different firearms.**
