  A Great Day for the
2003 CPF&G Club Ice Fishing Derby
January 19, 2003

The 2003 Country Pond F&G Club Ice Fishing Derby was held on Sunday, January 19, 2003 despite the fact it was only 7 degrees at the 5:30 AM sign up time. We had over 105 weather-brave souls sign up and head out to the ice for the 7:00 AM start. John Clement, Mike Renaldi, Alan Langer and Joe Clement at the 5:30 AM Sign-In >
		Our Co-Chairmen Walter Riley & John Faro were on the ice all day long overseeing the event along with John Cull, Bill Doherty, Jeff Theobald, Jim Gilbert, Tony Lombardi, Scott Cole, and Jim Yurik. < Sunshine and light winds
Working the kitchen and taking registrations were Mike Sorenson, Sharon Kimball, Bev Faro, Lois DeYoung, Earl Tibbitts, and Richard Amidon. Ice fishing is a tough chore >
		Selling bait at the clubhouse was Chuck Dwelley & Paul Bolduc. A Special Thank-you to Donald Newcomb of Merrimac Bait & Tackle in Merrimac, Ma. for the Donation of the Bait this and past years… Thanks, Don ! < It felt heavier pulling it in
